Hi, I’m Zoё, I’m a crochet designer, teacher and yarn addict.  I’ve been making things with wool for as long as I can remember.  The wonderful women in my life have all played a part in my woolly education: my nan, my gran, my mom and my mother in law. From my first tangles to the designs I’m proud to create today, the joy has always been in learning something new and seeing how tiny tweaks to the basics can create such an array of different effects.

I live in Yorkshire and am lucky to be able to make all things crochet my full time job. I’ve had all sorts of adventures along the way, and hope to take you with me on the next ones through this blog and (once I get my head around all the technology) video content I’ll be popping up online soon.

  1. I love your Frank The Festival Donkey pattern in the new issue (17) of Crochet Now! – It’s advertised as a pinata but I don’t see any instructions about stuffing with candy or how to get the candy out – am I missing something or is it just really a toy?

    • I’m really glad you like the design, he’s one of my favourites! I’ve designed him as a regular stuffed toy; I suppose you could modify him by adding fastenings (buttons perhaps? ) to the belly panel at the end rather than sewing it closed, then you could put some sweets inside. I’d love to see what you do with this pattern!
